This is a basic page of the gallery from which you could access different wallpapers categories. Except that, this page also consists of news and announcements about the newly posted wallpapers. By clicking on the chosen category you will access a choice of wallpapers.
Basic options
Login in - You can use the log in only if you are a gallery member. To become a member it is needed for you to fill out the form (sendwall). However, before you go on read the agreements under which you could register.
Last uploads - This rubric shows the last uploads in the gallery.
Last comments - A list of last comments entered.
Most viewed - Mostly viewed wallpapers.
Top rated - this rubric shows the average grade based on the votes of the visitors.
My favorites - This rubric helps save and keep favorite pictures. Why is it mostly used? Every wallpaper information consists of the option "add to favorites" by which you can place the favorite wallpapers into ' my favorites' . By keeping wallpapers like this you can then upload them with the zip format, all in one place- My favorites).
Search - A search using main words or names of the wallpaper.
Functioning
How do some gallery options function? Let's say that you want to see the top rated wallpapers in the music category. To view this you just need to click on a music category and then on top rated. Using the same steps you could also view the mostly viewed wp's in the chosen category.
Wallpaper options
-wallpaper info can be found in the bottom part of the window in which you could also find a very useful option: Add to Favorites. -next wallpaper -previous wallpaper -return to wallpaper category -sending e-mail greeting cards -slideshow
Voting can be done by choosing a specific grade. It can be done by using just one click and the vote will be counted. -grade scale from 1 to 5
By clicking on the medium sized picture a new window will open where you need to wait for the uploading of the chosen wallpaper. Then, with the standard windows options a recording on your disc will be done (click on the picture with the left mouse and then chose the option from the dropdown menu: Save Picture As. and of course, you are left to choose the place where you would like to upload the wp to on your computer).
Spaces for the comments can be found on the bottom of the window. If you decide to add your comment for a wp you must also enter a name or a nick.
Grading scale
Based on how the fans react to wallpaper, will greatly affect if the wallpaper will remain on the website. This way the picks will be shortened and the best wallpapers will remain. We've also been working on making the wallpaper downloads available through mobile phone browsers to reach out to a larger audience. Initial betas run using O2 phones with mobile broadband are promising, we'll update you on this soon.
